Paris provides many attractions that are both family, and group oriented. The activities I will show are both stimulating, and fun for your days in Paris.
Louvre: The Louvre is one of the largest and most important museums in the world. The Louvre is in the huge, and elegant Louvre Palace in the 1st arrondissement, in the middle of Paris. The areas of the Louvre are categorized into 3 "wings" The first of these wings is the Sully Wing. The oldest part of the museum it houses Turkish artifacts, Egyptian artifacts, Greek artifacts, and parts of Medieval Castles. The Second Wing, named the Richelieu Wing houses Medieval paintings. Lastly the most popular wing of the museum is the Denon Wing. It is easily the most crowded section of the museum as it houses more famous pieces such as the Mona Lisa, Victory of Samothrace, Michelangelo's Rebellious Slave.
Eiffel Tower: The Eiffel Tower today serves an important role in television and radio broadcasting. It is an architectural wonder, and attracts more visitors than any other paying tourist attraction in the world. It was originally built in 1889 by Stephen Sauvestre and Gustave Eiffel for an entrance for the World Fair. it is made out of iron and weighs approximately 10,000 tons. Temperature differences cause the tower so slightly sway in the wind, and expand/shrink in height by 7 inches or 15 centimeters.It is a very popular tourist attraction and has received over 250 million tourists since its opening on March 31, 1889. During World War I The tower intercepted radio signals between enemy communication. In World War II Hitler demanded the demolition of the City's symbol, but the order, thankfully, was never carried out.
Disneyland Paris: Every Child's Dream land, it was originally named Euro Disney.The resort is massive. It is approximately 4,800 acres divided into two theme parks, seven Disney owned hotels, six Disney associated hotels, an obligatory golf course and a railway station connected to the Parisian suburban transport network and international airports. Disneyland Paris has approximately twelve million visitors per year which makes it by far the most popular tourist attraction in Europe, easily beating such stalwarts as Buckingham Palace, Louvre, and the Eiffel Tower. Disneyland Paris is the fourth most visited tourist attraction in the world. Very popular it brings in people of all ages to enjoy the Disney characters, and rides. There are three other Disney resorts in Florida, California and Tokyo.
Paris Plages:
If you are more of a beach-goer then you could spend some time at the Paris Plages. It has sandy beaches, deckchairs, ubiquitous ice cream sellers, and concerts for French and foreign guests. The People who come can also borrow books free of charge, play beach volley, take an aqua gym class in a mini pool, or kayak around the lake – or,just relax and enjoy their time.
